Monster Mash Recipe

This Monster Mash Recipe is a delicious way to satisfy your sweet tooth and is the perfect side dish for a Halloween party or spooky dinner. It’s easy to make, packed with nutrition and delicious flavors, and will surely impress your guests.

Step 1:

Place 2.5 cups of White Rice into the Instapot

Pour 3 cups of water on top of the rice.

1 cup of chicken stock or bone broth to a bowl and stir

Step 2:

I added about one teaspoon of Ghee butter into the water following the rice. This is the kind of Ghee I love to the core and is available located in the baking aisle at Wegmans. (Make sure you get it in the Pink Himalayan Salt one!)

Step 3:

I take about half the spinach in a bag, chop it into pieces, and place it in the water.

Step 4:

I cut off half of the cherry/grape tomato container and placed the other portion over the spinach.

Step 5:

Take 2.5 pounds of uncooked ground beef, chicken, or turkey and turn them into meatballs of 6-7. Put them on top of the tomatoes/swiss and spinach.

Step 6:

Place the remaining cherries or grape tomatoes on top of the meat. Add salt/pepper if you’d like!

Step 7:

Close the lid, and then click on the “White Rice” button. From there, the Instapot will sound a beep before beginning to warm. After it has warmed up it will sound a second time and it will read “00:12” for 12 minutes of cooking. After 12 minutes, it will sound an alarm To prevent it from becoming too “soggy”

Step 8:

Let the pressure go out of the unit, if necessary. The unit when you open it will appear as follows.

Step 9:

I use an oven mitt, and then hold the oven as I break the meatballs, then mix it all together. The meat might not appear cooked, but when you mix it up, it’ll finish cooking and will be ready to take off!

Here I put around 2 cups of this monster mashing into glass containers to keep. Two cups may be enough for some, and you could be able to make more meals with this recipe. It’s enough food for two days of meals for me.

That way, you’ll get the protein and fat you need without gaining weight.

Whether to eat on the Vertical Diet

A slew of nutritionists has weighed in on the debate over whether to eat this recipe on the Vertical Diet. While many nutritionists agree that it can be a good choice, there are some caveats to keeping your calories within reason. In particular, the vertical diet focuses on increasing the caloric content of food while limiting the amount of red meat and processed carbohydrates. In addition to reducing your dietary fiber intake, it also reduces your bloating and gastric discomfort. While this recipe is not a complete substitute for the Vertical Diet, it is also suitable for people with low FODMAP levels.
