  7. A catchy treat but lip-synced, original was 1981 – stage set shows a 2005 banner; at 0:20. Reckon the girls are not even 24 yrs old..

  8. Not bad…but the same dance steps for every song…yoi! Wait a minute…the vocals sound like the abba women…or, are these chicks that good… anyone??'

  9. Good 2 c Stars On finally have a comeback, at long last ❤❤

Go go go, Jaap Eggermont! ! Stars On has always been an obscurity, even though it did enjoy mainstream success for just a little while. And it will always be the event, in the music history of my personal experience at least, that marked the end of the 70s Disco Era, & with it, Easy Listening altogether: Muzak, with all of its flavors of Orchestral Rock Fusion, Orchestral Jazz Fusion, Orchestral Funk, etc. It also marked the end of Soft Rock, Soft Jazz, & Folk Rock, too

I know he'll never read this, but I just have to say it: Thank You Thank You Thank You, Jaap Eggermont, for bringing in such authentic & grossly underrated talents, with Stars On .

Thank You for your months (at least) of dedicated effort, bringing in that terrific pair of Beatles impersonators, "George" & "John," most likely from that eclectic music capital: London. And Thank You for bringing in Long Tall Ernie & the Shakers, for those 50s revival songs. Pure speculation here, but most likely you discovered them in another vast musical mecca: NYC

We the fans, & the rest of the public, may never learn who those singer-impersonators were. But what terrific talent. What beautiful people. I will remember & cherish Stars On for the rest of my days as a musician. Without the everlasting impression of this album, without Rita Cooledge, without Shalamar, without Bill Withers, & Marvin Gaye- – the most profound & the very FIRST of my musical memories- – it is unlikely I wouldve ever picked up a bass guitar, much less an acoustic. This is the music that made me what I am today. You handed a musical legacy to me on a silver platter, upon which to develop my own originality; my own music . Thank You folks so much for giving that to me

You truly have made the world a better place with your music. Thank You for being such a shining light in a very dark place ❤❤

    Rest In Peace:
    Dick Clark 1929–2012
    Garry Marshall 1934–2016
    Billy Preston 1946–2006
    Tom Petty 1950–2017
    Gerry Rafferty 1947–2011
    Glen Campbell 1936–2017
    Marvin Gaye 1939–1984
    Waylon Jennings1937–2002
    And for several unnamed others…
