  1. Geeez… Some of you people are so, so GULLIBLE!. 1) Disabling Windows update service – well there goes your auto windows update or notify user of update – forever or at least until you reenable it. How many of you will forget to do a manual Win update? Most of you and before you know it your windows will be so out of date that…

    2) turning off SVCHOST processes. SVCHOST is a generic name for windows processes that run DLL files – you know the library files all those games, media programs, MS office, utilities use. Yeah – go ahead and just kill 'em – will nilly. If you're lucky some things you know about will just stop running and you'll notice – OH NO;s!!! Now you have to start it back up again. What a pain <sigh>.

If you're not lucky you might break something, might not even notice you broke it. If you're really really unlucky you break something that crashes your OS and you have to restart. And if the computer gods HATE you you break something that not only crashes your OS but breaks it bad enough to have to do a reinstall.

All those svchost.exe are running for a reason. And if the reason just happens to be a virus? That's what a good virus scanner is for. You're not gonna get rid of it by turning off the svchost.exe – it'll just reload itself.

ROFLMAO – Computer fix it guys love people like y'all who buy into this crap – you help put their kids thru college!

  2. OH MY GODDDD MY PC WILL DiE BECAUSE AN VIRUS DO SOMEYHING WIYH MY EXEFILES AND CANT OPEN ANYTHING YOUR METHOD WORKED BUT NOW THE VIRUS IDK WHAT DID AND EXE FILES DONT WORK, I THINK IS FROM SVCHOST
